The process of applying a full set of eyelash extension can take between 2-3.5 hours. It is an intricate process that requires attention to detail. Your lash technician will provide a comfortable chair, or bed for your application. You will need to lay on your back with your eyes closed the entire time. Your lash technician will most likely play relaxing music so that you can feel free to relax and get a lash nap in.

Lash extensions if not applied or removed correctly can cause damage to your natural lashes. Your lashes will appear thinner, and sometimes shorter depending on the growth stage they are in once removed. Typically within 2 weeks your lashes will appear as they did prior to your lash extension application if you should decide to remove them consult your lash technician for proper removal. Clients can cause pain, discomfort or damage to their natural lashes, by not properly taking care of them.

Lash extension fills help maintain your desired lash style. Your natural lashes have a growth cycle, as your natural lashes grow it will cause your lash extension to turn or flip and at the end of the cycle the lash will shed. New natural lashes will grow, and a new lash extension will be applied. Fills are recommended every 2 or 3 weeks for clients which is most commonly the length of time you will notice lash shedding. Fills are not provided for clients after 3 weeks, a new set is required.

Yes; however please avoid any waterproof or liquid makeup, as these products contains ingredients that breaks down the adhesive. Be certain to clean/ remove all eye make-up to avoid build up and poor hygiene.

• Do not expose lash extensions to water, extreme heat for the 24 hours following lash application. This includes saunas and hot showers without ventilation.
• Avoid oil-based products around your eyes. Gel moisturizers are suitable to use on your eyelid if needed.
• Avoid pulling, rubbing, touching your extensions, and brush a minimum of twice daily.
• Gently clean your lashes daily if you wear make-up, and every 2 days for non- make up wearers. You can wash daily if you choose. Clean lashes are the best.
• Avoid sleeping on your lashes (face sleepers) If you are not a back sleeper you will have more lash loss on the side you sleep on, this is common.
• Avoid using mascara, and over use of eye makeup. Mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow will build up in your lash extensions therefore creating poor lash retention if not properly cleaned. A magnifying mirror would be a great investment as a cleaning tool for you.
• Schedule your fills to maintain your desired lash look for every 2 or 3 weeks.
